All About Mrs. Dodendorf
I have been teaching 6th graders at MMS for 26 years. I attended Northern Michigan University and graduated with a degree in education, which included a major in math and a minor in biology. Before coming to Mason, I taught 4th, 5th and 6th graders for two years in Grand Rapids. I have had the opportunity to teach many years in a self-contained classroom setting as well as share students with other teachers in a rotational setting. I currently team-teach with Mrs. McCoy and love my job!
My advice to students about the school year would be to come to school with a positive attitude. A positive attitude will make learning fun and help each student reach their potential. I believe the key to a successful year is communication. My goal is to make 6th grade the best year ever for the students I share with Mrs. McCoy.
Thanks to all parents that give me the opportunity to help their children grow!
